Hi! My name is Mike. My 3 year old is learning to share. My 1 year old just learned to say "mine!"

My Story

As a husband and father of two, and after spending more than 20 years in healthcare, one thing has become obvious: we all need care. At some point, each of us finds ourselves in the hands of others, dependent on skills and expertise that we cannot provide for ourselves. As a paramedic turned registered nurse, from emergency to home care and surgical settings, I have seen many different scenarios. In all of them I have seen the absolute human need for care and for the support systems we have in place. Family and friends, hospital staff, and even insurance companies – everyone plays their part. In these moments, the value of genuine concern for the wellbeing of others cannot be overestimated. So, for me  becoming an independent insurance agent was a natural shift because I've learned that patient care starts well before the ambulance or hospital bed. When choosing health or life insurance, with so much to learn and important decisions to make, trusted guidance is critical. We all need care. It comes in many forms. I am here to help.

I grew up in Saint Clair Twp, Michigan, with a loving family and a farm animal or two. I’ve always loved nature and people. I started my healthcare career as a technician in the emergency department of Lake Huron Medical Center (then St Joseph Mercy Hospital) in Port Huron, MI. I became a paramedic out of high school then completed the nursing program at Macomb County Community College. I have worked in St. Clair and Macomb Counties as a registered nurse since 2005 and became licensed as an independent insurance agent in 2024. I live in Fort Gratiot, MI with my beautiful wife and two wonderful children. I love spending time with my family and together we spend time each week volunteering in the community. For fun, I enjoy hitting the Michigan trails and beaches and sitting around a campfire with loved ones.
